             Beef teriyaki with egg-fried rice


             Serves: 2 | Preparation time: 15 minutes (excludes chilling the rice overnight)
             | Cooking time: 15 minutes



             What you’ll need:



             Ingredients



             For the long-grain rice

             2 cups (500ml) water
             1 cup (250ml) long-grain rice


             For the teriyaki sauce


             Note: This makes double the quantity that is needed for the recipe, so either halve it or
             keep the extra sauce in the fridge for another quick and easy dinner)
             1 ½ cups (375ml) low-sodium soy sauce
             2 Tbsp (30ml) light brown sugar
             ½ Tbsp (7ml) rice wine vinegar
             1 piece ginger, finely grated
             1 garlic clove, minced

             Coarse salt

             For the stir-fry
