Homemade mayonnaise in five varieties
Makes 1L | Preparation time: 10 minutes
What you’ll need:
Ingredients
6 egg yolks, at room temperature
2 Tbsp (30ml) Dijon mustard
¼ cup (60ml) white wine vinegar
Salt
1 liter unscented peanut, sunflower or canola oil
Tools
Food processor or bowl and whisk
Knife
Chopping board
What to do:
1. Place the egg yolks, mustard, vinegar and a good pinch of salt in a food processor and
whizz to combine. Alternatively, place the ingredients into a bowl and whisk them
together.
