Reasons that People Migrate in Undeveloped Countries
Migration is the movement from one place to another. Over the decades people had left their
homes for different reasons, the most important are economic crisis and the dream about a
better life for them and their families.
First economic crisis is one of the most common issue in undeveloped countries. In those
countries the local currency change constantly and causes inflation, that means that one day
something is too cheap but at the next the same product is too expensive. For that reason is
very difficult for some people get the basic products they need. In addition many people lose
their jobs or their salaries are reduced because of low productivity and they cannot sell their
products as they used to. Another economy problem cause is corruption. Many politicians and
some sectors get benefits from population money or they received money to let some people
do illegal things. There is also a bad distribution of money that causes poverty. For those
reasons people decide to leave their homes and go to another place looking for a better job and
new opportunities which had helped them to make a better country.
Second a better life. Many people try to find some changes and opportunities in other places.
For example in Ecuador many people migrated to Spain, Italy and the U.S. because they lost
their money, their homes and also their dreams. They promised to themselves not to have the
same situation again, most of them went to other countries illegally, without money and just
with a bag with few clothes. Some of them chose Spain and Italy because of the language but
others went to the U.S. because it was the country where dreams come true. They could get
better jobs and the jobs were not difficult at all. They started a new life. Now they have enough
money to buy a pretty house in a residential area, they can get a car and also their children
could have a better education, they can go to colleges and study a career. But not everything
was good, many families were destroyed and many people died trying to cross the boarders.
Migration had been a part of human history, because is a way to survive. People risk many
things and even their lives to achieve their dreams or just to get a new life. Migration also had
helped to economic growth in many places and had brought progress to others.
