In addition to the Macao Museum, there is another cultural landmark,

which is contemporary and gigantic, that cultural landmark is the Macao
Cultural Centre. Although the Centre was established in 1999, it also as a
geographical and natural
modern space that marks the cityscape surround it. The Centre includes a
complex with 2 auditoriums, an art museum and Handover Gifts Museum.

Its several venues open for the people to provide high-quality
programmes, such as performances, conferences, exhibitions, among
other projects. It is noted that certain kinds of large events have been held
in the Centre, including the Macao International Music Festival and Macau
Arts Festival.
