Pedestrian zone
Rua Da Emenda 義字街
This street is one of the pedestrian zone
in Macau. This street is the burial
ground for the destitute? So this is how
the name義 come from. It is one of the
representative outdoor market in
Macau. When we walk through this
street? We can see different type of
store. Someone are selling cloths
someone are selling some meats and
vegetable someone are selling medicine
someone are selling pajamas. There are
lots of things we can buy. The
impression from mine of this street is
good because I think that it is full of
vitality. The nature of this street is
similar to Apliu street in Hong Kong but
I think the width of the road in this
street is thicker than Apliu street and I
feel more comfortable while walking in
this street due to the better ventilation.
Due to this street are selling many
types of things, it can attracts different
age groups of tourist. For example, the
youngster may enjoy taking photos on
this street to share this soulful street
which have no car inside to their social
media. The elderly may look for the
food in wet market and buy what they
think are worthy.
