deemed to be outside the scope of the CSEC® Theatre Arts syllabus and consequently, were deleted.

15. All of the respondents to the survey felt that the Specific Objectives were clearly stated.
However, the Panel determined that some Specific Objectives needed to be refined, clarified or even
deleted to ensure that the syllabus clearly reflects the appropriate scope and sequence of work
required at the CSEC® level (see Table 2). For example, Specific Objectives 7 to 11 in Option B, Section
2 were deleted by the Panel as they felt these were taking students outside of the appropriate scope
of the syllabus.
