GENERAL OBJECTIVES

On completion of this Module, students should:

1. understand the terms ‘health’ and ‘disease’;

2. understand the principles of immunology;

3. be aware of the principles underlying social and preventative medicine; and,

4. understand biological and social implications of substance abuse.
