Chapter 1: Arrival

I as a cool Saturday evening on June 14th 2011,
my loving parents, Don and Zandra, were
bubbling with excitement as they welcomed their
first born, Malik, into this crazy world.
The delivery room was packed with medical staff
and my Dad of course!! My aunt and grandma
later visited with balloons and a teddy
bear...which I still have to this day!!
My first month was awesome...I was constantly
cradled and fed almost every two hours…. life was
supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!!! Now it was
time to move to my parent’s homeland, Grenada,
affectionately referred to as “The Isle of Spice.”
