Chronicles of a Grenadian American Boy in Turks and Caicos Islands
There were lots of exotic foods to try, as well as
musical entertainment. The parade of the Junkanoo
band was spectacular and included characters
dressed in traditional colorful costumes dancing to
the beat of the drums, whistles and bells.
Three weeks flew by and it was time to start my
school journey. I cried (I think my Mom did too) for
the first couple days as I was scared and unfamiliar
with my surroundings.
