A Day I Will Never Forget
I
t was Monday, September 18th, 2017, the day
Maria shook my country. It started out as a
normal day; still people were tuned to their radios
listening to the weather reports as usual.
At about midday, the Prime Minister announced
that all business places were to be closed and
school children should go home. People were
seen rushing helter-skelter, grabbing groceries
like bread, buying batteries, candles and other
necessities.
