A Day I Will Never Forget
About one o’clock, the weather changed and the
whole place got dark as it started raining, thunder
rolled fiercely, and lightening flashed with much
vengeance; as if someone was taking emergency
pictures. Outside was as cold as ice. I grew scared,
the wind was so strong you could hear the
rackling of the galvanize on the roof.
With watery eyes, I questioned, “Mommy, what’s
going on?” She answered, “Just pray!” Later that
day, everything took a turn for the worst.
