In total, the Grote Lamplighters have raised more than
$140,000 for local charities.
GREEN FOR THE GREEN
Four Indiana Department of Natural Resources prop-
erties underwent improvements thanks to the generosity BUSINESS INCUBATOR
of Grote Lamplighter Club, receiving donations totaling KITCHEN & OFFICE SPACE
$17,000 for upgrades at Clifty Falls and Versailles state TRAINING & EVENTS
parks and Hardy Lake, all of which are operated by the
DNR Division of State Parks, and also Clark State Forest.
Club members presented the check to Indiana Natu-
ral Resources Foundation Executive Director, Jody Kress,
at Clifty Falls. “The foundation is always looking for
community partners to help support outdoor education
and recreation,” Kress said. “Grote’s generosity is a
great example of how businesses
and other non-profits can
help future generations
enjoy Indiana’s natural
and cultural heritage. The
foundation is extremely
grateful for the gift.” 
