do. We see changes happening every single day in the lives of
the kiddos we are representing, whether it’s just showing up
when they need someone advocating for them to have better
mental health services, speaking up when they have problems
at school, going into court to make sure their voice and their
view is heard, or even just being there to tell them that they’re
worthy. The work we do is absolutely heartbreaking at times,
but it’s also the most wonderful experience to be able to be in a
position that can bring some happiness to a hurting child’s life.
We are now a team of almost 100 who work together to make
sure that every single one of these children knows how import-
ant they are, and that they’re not alone. To have the Chamber
of Commerce recognize the value in our program, our service,
and the children we serve is such an amazing compliment for
us. We know that our community is with us in the fight for
these kids. We are absolutely thankful.
Sincerely,
Tonya Ruble-Richter
