                In continuation of my No 127/c of 4/10/2}. Various people aro
                reported to be still canvassing signatures to the petition
                mentioned.I'hoso who have so far signed are said to inolude the
                follow!ng-
              1.  ounni Yearling Nakhudas.who woro annoyed at tho rocent punishmen
                  of one of their number for illegally imprisoning a divei^d who
                  above all;fear that the Reforms will inolude registration & a

                  tax on pearling boats & reform of the Sallfoh court which is
                  now virtually non existent.
              2.  The i*owasir,who aro of oourso disgruntled at being punished for

                 their attaoks on ghAahs .They are reported,though it is
                  impossible to roly on reports,all Borts of rumours being current!
                  to have asked Bin Baud to grant them land & a village between |
                  ^assa & Qatif.He is said to have refused but to have offred to |

                  let them settle at Qatif.whloh they are not willing to aooapt.

                  nas lately been having severul meetings with the Qosaibis.
              3. ^ne or two of the younger members of Al Khalifeh,inol .ding a son
                 of ^haik Abdulla,who accompanied him on his visit to England &
                  considers himself a great politioian.Abdulla oannot oontrol him,

                unlikely eithor of them will sign the petition.They have both
                beon considerably affooted by tho roform of the customs.
