I beg to forward for your information a tranolation of the Bahrain

State Budget for the arabic Year commencing 1st Muharram 1343. which
has been sanctioned by the Deputy Ruler.
I venture to hope that you will consider that it discloses a very
satisfactory state of finances for so small an Arab State.
Expenditure & receipts under each heading have been worked out in
detail in tho actual budget,but it wua thought unnneccssary to trouble
you with translations of tl.e details of each department of the
State. The attached notoo explanatory of certain items in tho

budget wlll.it is hoped, be of interest.
