Judicial-Receipts, Rs. 43,860/- Rs. 18,360/-
The substantial'increase over last year is mainly
accounted for by several important cases in the Bahrain Court in
which large amounts were charged in court fees, also a steady InEtc
increase in the registration of property and sales. The fees
collected bv the Land Department are included under this heading.

Interest On Reserve. Rs. 33,387/- Rs. 12,440/-
Besides the interest on the actual Reserve, which
is at present three lacs, interest is derived from all funds on
Deposit Account in^nastern 3ank and Lloyds Bank, Bombay, The
amount was under-estimated in the^Budget as it was uncertain for
ftow long the balance would be kept^in Bombaj^^
Rent Of Government Lands. Rs.*13,636/- Rs. £3,828/-
This includes the Royalty paid on the Oil Concession
Rs. lOCOC/-, and also ground rents on land which is mostly occupied
by squatters in straw huts in the neighbourhood of the towns of
Kanamsh and Muharrak.
I!i scellsneou s. Rs. 14899/-.
This includes repayment to the Government of
Rs. 9GC0/- which was spent on repairing the Ideri Is ter Channel.
There was some delay over recovering the total amount from the
gardens owners.
Sales Of Government Land.
Includes the sale of several blanks alleys and
small pieces of grounds also three sections of sea lying inside the
new i'uharrak road which were purchased by the owner of the
adjacent property.
