Shia Wakfs.

During the year fifteen.wakfs were discovered

which had not been registered in the department and
these are now being administered by the majlis.

About 30 mosques were repaired and work was
done in 68 gardens and 07 er 1700 young date trees

were purchased and planted in wakf property, Several
small gardens were purchased in order to consolidate

wakf property and two pieces of ground were sold at
a very advantageous prices and the proceeds were used
to buy a more productive garden than the ones sold.

ELe work of roistering the titles of all
wakf property iz very slow and whenever an oppor­
tunity occurs the Sunni neighbours to the Shim Wakfs

endeavour to prove a counterclaim.
