the estlaate of Revenue fron Cuotonn Receipts,
which in the State*r. chief source of wealth*
Last year this lten was e oil mated at
Rfl. 9,00,000/-. Thle year Z have increased
it to Ra. 9,60,000/- allowing a margin of one
lac between the actual reccipto for 1347 and the
eetlmited receipts for 1348, It would be dan-

geroua to budget for a larger amount, aa it is
generally thought that trade prospects for the
cooing year are not as precising as at the begin­
ning of last year, This is owing to the die-
turbed conditions on the mainland, the exolusl
