The stratigraphy of hese lattcr three soundings is clearly divided :
from 0.50 to 1.10/1.50 meters above sea evel, the deposit was sandy, and the
l
occupation levels not very conspicuous. The ceramic assemblages from this
level are illustrated on figures 6 and 8.

from .101.50 o 1.60/2.30 meters above sea evel s found tone wall-collapse:
r
these cursorily built walls were possibly either azed by man or collapsed after
an abandonment. This second hypothesis is perhaps more likely, because of
sterile layer of 20 30 cm found in sounding 2 and sounding 8 above the
rubble collapse, This sterile layer may confirm the abandonment of the
settlement, Within the rubble collapse was recovered a large corpus of
ceramics, illustrated on figures 7 and 9, as well as on plate 1.
The observations made after the material rom sounding 3 are valuable for those

in soundings 2, and 8 and 9, for the wo evels of period ٧ this ceramic corpus is
not homogeneous and is made up of wo distinct traditions.
