There were no stocks of Indian Rice available during the year—the higher priced rice being of
Iraq origin.
The increase in cost of coffee may be attributed to higher dhow freights being charged.
It will be noted there is a considerable reduction in the cost of Tea during the year, due to the
strict quota control in India.
