The falling off in the number of British ships calling at Bahrain during 1364, and in particular
those of the B.I.S.N. Coy., Ltd., is due to the withdrawal of a local service carried out by the vessel
" Resang ” in 1363, between Busrah and Sharjah, calling at Kuwait, Bushire and Bahrain en
route. The increase in the number of tankers was no doubt due to the increased demands for oils for
war purposes.
