The decrease in revenue from Native Craft may be attributed to a large reduction in the import
of coffee from Aden and Africa, and less imports from Persia of wheat and rice, and ghee from Arabia.

The increase in the import of tea is due to this commodity being now de-controUed in India
and elsewhere and available in the open market.
The large increase in value of imports of Cotton piecegoods is due to the increasing availability
of these goods in the U.K., and U.S.A., similarly silk piecegoods are once again available from China
and are being imported regularly, hence the increased value from this source.

Except in the case of coffee and tea. there was a slight rise in price of wheat, rice and sugar,
which was due to rising costs in the exporting countries.
