lations at present recorded. Types 1—8 vary from scarce to very
rare on cover; and, as Types 4, 6 and 7 do not include the year,
they are consequently not easy to ‘date’. Only those for which the
year has been positively identified are included, and the dates in
brackets cover the theoretical span of use of these cancellations.
