THE BATTLE PLAN
Keep the objectives clearly in mind.
Research the enemy and evaluate its strengths and weaknesses before engaging in bat-
tle.
If at all possible, pick or know the terrain you will be fighting on.
Understand the strength and weaknesses of both sides.
Give assignments according to ability.
Reinforce to all that each person always plays an important role. State that you expect
each to actively participate and contribute.
Meet with each of your leaders individually.
In your private meeting with each of your leaders, adjust your approach to match the
type of behavior they respond to in the most positive and excitable manner.
Clearly state that this is a team and that undermining another member will not be toler-
ated.
Whenever possible allow your warriors to also lead in battle.
Never be reluctant to re-evaluate any situation.
Be cautious of those who say an opponent is no competition.
Never underestimate the capabilities of your opponent.
If things go too easily, be on the lookout for an ambush.
Guard your flanks and keep the sun to your back.
Illusion is a very powerful tool of war.
A wise warrior will keep reinforcement in the ready.
State that together we will succeed or fail.
