THE BATTLE
A great warrior understands that in the heat of battle one must fight with tenacity.
If one cannot adjust in battle, he will surely parish.
During battle, one’s sanity can be easily lost if one does not remain focused.
To retreat in battle is to re-evaluate the battle plan.
A wise warrior knows that in battle one can lead others to victory.
A wise warrior chief delegates power before the battle begins.
To surrender during battle is to face the reality of the situation.
Before entering battle, a wise chief will have thoroughly studied his enemy’s strength.
The shadow of Death walks the battlefield.
One must stay focused during the battle or run the risk of defeat.
A wise chief knows that claiming victory too early in the battle is to let one’s guard
down.
A great warrior chief leads his warriors into battle.
All on the field of battle make sacrifices.
Victory is an elusive word in battle.
A great warrior is expected to lead.
A great warrior leaves the field of battle in humility.
A battle is like holding a rattlesnake by its tail: unpredictable.
One never returns from battle quite the same as when he left for battle.
The brotherhood of the warrior is shared by all who go to war.
There is no glory in war for either side when lives have been lost.
One must be mentally, spiritually, emotionally and physically prepared for battle.
