The other Award we received was for Delaware North at Wembley Stadium. Here our operation was
recognised for Stadium of the Year. Great acclamations against some very high-level competition. Wembley
Stadium was up against Twickenham Stadium (the National Stadium for Rugby) and Tottenham Hotspur’s
new £1bn Stadium that opened just last year.

Wembley has delivered above and beyond expectation in both financial and operational terms with over 50
Events in the calendar against a back drop which usually sees 30/35 Events. From NFL, international football
matches, World Championship boxing fights to 14 sell-out 70,000-seater concerts. The team worked tirelessly
in delivering this excellence. It’s brilliant to see them being recognised.

Winning didn’t end there. Our London stadium team also managed to snag Bronze for Best Catering Team at
the London Catering awards 2019.
