•  Complied with The Brown Act through posting of agendas and public notices, prepared annual Maddy
                  Act requirements, maintained Public Noticing Board, and tracked AB 1234 ethics training for city staff,
                  City Council, and commission and board members;
              •  Managed the competitive bidding process, including publications, bid opening process, return of bonds,
                  preparation of Notice of Completions, and records management for bid packages, contracts and bonds;
              •  Processed Public Records Act (PRA) requests and assisted with implementation of Next Request for
                  online submittal and tracking of PRA requests;
              •  Records Manager for legislative history and city records, including records imaging and indexing, data
                  entry, records destruction, citywide records research for staff and the public, and management of an
                  onsite inactive records center and vault, which held over 2,500 boxes;
              •  Assisted with adoption of a Records Retention Policy, overhaul of the City Clerk’s file room and vault,
                  and implementation of an Electronic Document Management System using eFile Cabinet and Versatile
                  Software;
              •  Made arrangements with the local museum to borrow City Council minutes for a Digitization Conversion
                  Project;
              •  Worked with vendors through informal requests for quotes, Q&A, review of films/fiches and documents
                  for a MicroFiche and MicroFilm Digital Conversion Project;
              •  Analyzed clerk's budget, including tracking fund accounts, preparation of budget revision authorization
                  forms, account payables and receivables, reconciliations, travel expense report reconciliation, credit
                  card reconciliation, discrepancy review, entering requisitions to request purchase orders, and entering
                  chargebacks;
              •  Prepared City Council agendas and agenda packets, including assembling, bookmarking, posting, and
                  distribution to City Council, budget tracking and arrangement of meals for City Council;
              •  Assisted with implementation of an Automated Agenda Software System through an Automated
                  Agenda Stakeholder’s Group and Sub-Committee for on-site viewing of software used in other cities and
                  reporting back to the group, viewing demonstrations, rating, and selecting a vendor, assisting with
                  training, evaluation and continuous customization, feedback loops, and identifying and requesting
                  enhancements from vendor;
              •  Prepared Resolutions, Ordinances, publications and recorded documents. Prepared staff reports to set
                  annual meetings of the City Council and Housing Authority Board;
              •  Provided clerk assistance to the Civil Service Commission and Human Resources Commission through
                  minute taking, agenda preparation, posting and distribution, and clerk assistance at the meetings.
                  Created an agenda template and speaker cards for Human Relations Commission. Back-up clerk support
                  for City Council, Planning Commission and Oversight Board;
              •  Worked with the City Manager to develop a survey through SurveyMonkey for distribution to all of the
                  City’s Committee Members with a 93% response rate; compiled and prepared a complex data report
                  with bar graphs, pie chart and tables to share the results and findings with the City Council;
              •  Developed a proposal to implement a Boards and Commissions Recognition Program for consideration
                  by City Council;
              •  Developed a Citywide Frequently Asked Questions – Quick Reference Guide working with administrative
                  staff in every department to review and provide input. Converted the guide into a Microsoft Publisher
                  Booklet and distributed to administrative staff; and
              •  Served on the Wellness Committee, Events Planning Sub-Committee, Branding Sub-Committee, Safety
                  Committee, Intranet Committee, Social Club, and as the Third Floor Hall Monitor.
