I am writing to express interest in the Director of Administration/Clerk of the Board position
with the Vallejo Flood & Wastewater District. Having served in high level administrative
positions in both the public and private sectors with continued success, I am confident that I can
make a valuable contribution to the Vallejo Flood & Wastewater District.

As you will notice in the enclosed resume, I have eight years of experience with municipal
oversight and management of municipal functions with a specialization in policy development,
collaborating with policymakers and community engagement. These experiences include two
years as a member and chair of a major city commission, two and a half years as a legislative
aide to a county supervisor including oversight of unincorporated areas and three years as the
manager of a major city commission.

Previous employers would describe me as professional, detail oriented and extremely
collaborative. My diverse administrative and advocacy experiences have helped me to develop
strong skills in management, community outreach, innovation, and inter-agency collaboration. I
am eager to grow in my profession and would welcome the opportunity to discuss in greater
detail how my qualifications would best fit the needs of the Vallejo Flood & Wastewater
District.
