California Bay-Delta Authority, Water Use Efficiency Program (Prior
to January 1, 2003, known as the CALFED Bay-Delta Program, operated
under the California Department of Water Resources). Participate in
engineering assessments and technical analysis of water use efficiency
studies and program grants. Developing Quantified Targeted Benefits to
achieve required flow levels in the San Joaquin River. Assist in oversight,
coordination and development, with California State Water Resource
Control Board, of Proposition 50, Chapter 7, Grant Funding Project
selection process.
• Assisted the Assistant Deputy Director of Water Management (Task
Force Member- California Bay-Delta Authority Representative) in the
2004 Desalination Task Force.
• Assisted in coordination, development and production of the 2002
Water Recycling Task Force, Funding/CALFED Coordination
Subcommittee White Paper.
• Developed databases for, the Water Use Efficiency Grant Program and
Agricultural Quantifiable Objective and Targeted Benefits for use with
the U.S. Bureau of Interior and California Agricultural Water
Management Council. Evaluated the changes of the Impaired Water
Bodies Listing, 2002 303(d) to the 1998 303(d) listing to update the
Agricultural Targeted Benefits
• Analyzed, inventoried and developed a comprehensive database of
California stream gage stations for analysis of current water
measurement activities.
• Developed CALFED Bay-Delta Program tracking document including
major milestones with all CALFED programs.

June 2001 to December 2001
Engineer, Water Resources
California State Department of Water Resources, Operation and
Maintenance, Project Surveillance, South. Analyze and maintain dam
performance utilizing instrumentation data, graphs, charts, engineering
studies, physical inspection and history of USBR joint owned dams
including San Luis Reservoir, O’Neill Forebay, Los Banos and Little
Panoche.
• Developed an annual report for Los Banos and Little Panoche
Dams
• Developed formal inspection reports on individual dam
performance.
