Overall: Bob has built a strong accounting career in the private sector and clearly has the chops to
do that part of the job. He has spent his last 20 years in the Big Bear Lake community and
raised his family there. He is extremely thrilled to have the opportunity to interview for the
position, but acknowledges that he lacks experience within the public sector. He
underscored his desire to learn the role and emphasized that he will do whatever it takes to
get up to speed. I recommend moving Bob forward to the panel interview so that the
members can get a better understanding of Bob's technical abilities for accounting and
whether they are transferable to fit the needs of the role.
