               General Questions
               1. Why are you interested in the Financial Analyst role?

The requirements are a great fit for what he would like to pursue. He is currently self
employed and would like to get back to a team setting. He has family in Lake Arrowhead and
                 loves the west coast.

               2. Please tell me about your current position and its daytoday responsibilities.

Tom does more macroeconomics than micro. He is an Excel expert and tracks world currency and the
daily fluctuations that identify opportunities to profit from trades. He has extensive workbooks set
up to help him track those changes and where profit can be made. At the end of the day, this is
something that he can automate and make a lowerrisk profit while getting back to a fulltime role.

               3. What do you know about the City of Big Bear Lake and the Department of Water and
                 Power?

He is familiar with the area and the public sector, but not with the department itself. He has
work with Baltimore Gas & Electric and his skillset is transferable which is something he
found as a consultant between the NSA and their vendors.

               Position Specific Questions

               4. What relevant accounting experience do you have that would allow you to succeed in this
                 role?

Has thoroughly accounted for every dollar the government allocated to vendors. Tom was
responsible for the auditing of the budget from federal contracts. He has performed auditing
contracts with Pricewaterhousecoopers as a consultant. Tom believes in technical solutions to
streamline accounting and can do the heavy lifting through Excel.

               5. How do you prove you are the right candidate and will be a longterm fit?

Tom wants a longterm fit with job security. He wants to be close to family on the west coast and be
in his next job for 35 years.

               6. What do you consider to be your greatest professional strength?

His greatest professional strength is his ability to adapt to different personalities and work
                 effectively with anyone.
