General Questions
1. Why are you interested in the Financial Analyst role?
He did his Masters within Finance and is exploring the financial analyst role. He feels that
this role is beneficial in learning as much as he can given that he would be und the CFO.
2. Please tell me about your current position and its daytoday responsibilities.
Saharsh was most recently an intern in the manufacturing space. He was working with the AP
department, assisting with data migration to their new system. He matched financial statements and
bank statements. He also updated the system to reflect all of the revenue from machinery offered.
3. What do you know about the City of Big Bear Lake and the Department of Water and
Power?
He knows it’s a government administration. There is a sparse population and the position
would be about assisting the finance department.

4. What relevant accounting experience do you have that would allow you to succeed in this
role?
He has worked with capital projects as a plant manager. He restructured the budget with the plant
expansion. He has experience with variance analysis as well. He has 3 years of internal auditing
experience, reconciliation activities with suppliers and invoices.
5. The right candidate will be a longterm fit, how do you get the message across that you are
that candidate?
Saharsh sees his progression as learning as much as he can in the finance department. He loves
where it is located and wants to grow in that community.
6. What do you consider to be your greatest professional strength?
His ability to organize and plan longterm is his greatest skill. It isn't something you get with
just education, it is something you instill in yourself.
