Accomplishments:
Secured design grant funding for $3.5M water reservoir & pump station
Secured funding agreement for I-710 Freeway Corridor Project Traffic Study
Secured 10 years' worth of reimbursements owed to city from LA County Parks Maintenance Service Account ($271,000).
Secured $1.6M in I-710 TAC Early Action Measure R Funding
Secured $3.2M in LA Metro Call for Projects, first MTA award in over 12 years.
Implemented new transit fees for 1st time in history of city
Implemented news rack ordinance for 1st time in history of city
Conducted playground safety inspection at all parks in 15 years & developed CIP
Bell Gardens becomes first CA Friendly City in region-Central Basin Water District designation.
Secured $1M for I-710 Early Action funding for Eastern/Florence Intersection Improvements
