There she would swim in clear, blue pond,

and respond to nature of which she was so fond.

Su Wong, a Viet Cong, walked a trail many miles long. When it forked Su didn’t

know which prong was right and which were wrong.

Just then she heard the strong gong of a church bell dong. Then she knew to take

the left prong. Soon she was one of the throng, walking along singing a hymnal

song.

Verbal Honky Tonk

The geese honked out

Big Foot clonked out

Then the auto conked out

Then the sleepyhead conked out, too
