Albert Knox, catches salmon called lox, and sells them

frozen by the box. He grows cotton to make socks, and

raises hogs for hocks.

To till his fields he uses a bull ox. He keeps a few game-

cocks too, because they protect his chickens from fox, and

are more dependable than the best alarm clocks.
