AUSLAN

Throughout 2018, had a number of students
voluntarily participate in a weekly lunchtime
AUSLAN course in collaboration
with St Mary’s Hearing for the Deaf.

This was the first time this type of activity
has taken place within our College. So many
students and staff expressed an interest the
program was expanded later in the year to
accommodate more participants.
Students learnt such things as finger spelling,
the alphabet, how to sign their names and how
to introduce themselves.
