The canonical visit to our College of Mother
General, Sr Yvonne Reungoat FMA, worldwide
leader of the Salesian Sisters, with Sr
Lucy Rose FMA, Regional Superior to the
Salesian Sisters and General Councillor was
undoubtedly a highlight
last year.

When Mother Yvonne, Sr Lucy and the Sisters
arrived, our Year 7 and 8 students formed
a joyful, truly Salesian guard of honour, with
signs of welcome.
The Rector, Fr Joe Binh SDB, the Vice
Principal, Angela Romano, Mr Stephen
Connelly, Director of Faith and Mission, Sr
Rochelle Lamb FMA, Pastoral Assistant, and
our College Captains then greeted our guests.
Eucharist was then celebrated in honour of St
Maria D. Mazzarella. As the Eucharist began, a
student introduced the Mass by sharing what
the well of Mornese and the window of the
Valponasca meant to them.

Lastly, and fittingly, Mother Yvonne, Sr Lucy
and all the Sisters participated in a senior
Bosco assembly. Students studying Italian
welcomed Mother Yvonne in word and song.

The College then presented a Salesian candle
and a flag with the image of Mary Mazzarella
to mark this auspicious occasion.
