With the implementation of iContact, the library
began sending out a monthly e-Newsletter titled
The Page Turner, which contains helpful information
for students, staff, and faculty. It prioritizes
students, while the library's long-standing bi-
semesterly newsletter, Library News, is targeted
toward staff and faculty.
The Page Turner includes program descriptions,
event announcements, information about the
Chatham Archives & Special Collections, links to
how-to videos, library tool and resource
recommendations, app recommendations, and bits
of life advice.

This format is more welcoming and accessible. It

allows the library to quickly share information and

resources, and also gives subscribers an easy way to

reach librarians.

With an extremely high average open rate (65.2%),

it is clear that this new format is a success.
