When archival formats require special handling
for digitization, the University Archives manages
preservation through an outside vendor
specializing in media migration.

In '21-22, the University Archives managed
digital preservation of 12 media items including:

• The 1975 symposium “Where Have All the
Heroes Gone?” featuring Lesley Stahl (CBS
News), John B. Oakes (N.Y. Times), Senator Gale
McGee (WY), Rep. Joseph Rhodes, Jr. (PA-24th),
William Block (Post-Gazette), and Marie Torre

(KDKA-TV)

• The Chatham Choir performance at St. Thomas

Episcopal Church in New York City with the

Franklin and Marshall Glee Club in 1976

• The Chatham Music & Arts Summer Day Camp

reunion celebration in 1976
