Librarians in the Classroom
“The students were overwhelmingly positive in
their discussions about their experiences
working with you. They all learned things that
they will take with them into future studies...
I can't thank you enough for helping them (and
me). If you have any suggestions for me for the
next time this class is offered, please let me
know.” ~Faculty
Librarians collaborate with course instructors to
deliver engaging instruction sessions tailored to
the goals of the instructor and librarians in
achieving various learning outcomes. Often
accompanied by a research assignment, these
sessions are taught during the class time.
Librarians also provide Orientation sessions which
broadly cover library resources and services. The
Reference & Outreach Librarian Jocelyn MBA students, the Summer Community of Writers
Codner meets with the Summer
Community of Writers at Chatham's Eden at Eden Hall, and the Graduate Student Welcome
Hall location. program all benefited from the Orientation.
