Purpose of the Association Purpose and Aim of the Association

According to the Safety at Sport and Recreational Events Act No. 2 of 2010, all
participating parties to such an event, whether for sporting or entertainment
purposes, are jointly and separately responsible for an event. Thus, all service
providers to an event will be held liable and guilty untill compliance and
responsible practise has been proven.

INSEA™ is a relationship regulating association which accommodate all role-
players in the industry from the private sector by the establishment of its 3
membership categories.

INSEA™ has adopted a set of compliance standards tailored for the registered
hosting member in good standing of the association. The 3 membership
categories are:

• Hosting Membership
• Managed Service Provider (MSP) Membership

• Stakeholder Membership
For stakeholders and managed service providers, membership in good standing
status is mandatory for any commercial trade with a registered hosting member
of the association.

Aim of the Association

INSEA™ aims to promote and embrace sustainable, ethical and accountable
business practices within the sporting, entertainment and recreational events
industry, both locally and internationally, for all role-players which fall under the
auspices of the SASREA Act No. 2 of 2010.
