Main Objectives of the Association
• To be industry driven and have mandated representatives from main industry
role players. Main Objectives of the Association
• To set guidelines around minimum requirements for any event hosting and the
provision of services in the industry.
• To determine baselines and key performance indicators that can be used to set
specific objectives and standards for event accreditation, procedures, standards,
regulations and operations for all registered members before, during and after a
registered event and encourage the accountability of all role players.
• To raise industry, event, spectator/fan safety and member awareness and
promote training and educational opportunities for registered members their
employees and the general public.
• To further the equitable fair economical trade and transactions between
registered members.
• To further the local socio-economic development of local communities by
providing them with preferential employment opportunities for an event by a
registered hosting member as far as possible.
• To develop appropriate marketing and branding material to be operational and
functional.
• To provide a platform for sharing information and best practice around hosting
services before, during and after an event.
• To work towards a common understanding that can integrate the standards,
practices, regulations and procedures of hosting services before, during and after
an event.
• To be an association where membership to INSEA™ and compliance is
mandatory in order to host any event and or provide services during any such
event, including to establish, encourage and act as a catalyst for appropriate
regulation and practices.
• To promote communication with local, national and international governing
bodies and to encourage them to adopt and promote recreational sporting,
entertainment and event processes, standards and regulations.
• To raise funds to ensure the long-term sustainability of INSEA™ - its practices,
procedures, standards and regulations.
• To encourage the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, accountability
and integrity among its officials and members.
• To lead the recreational sporting, entertainment and event industry through
actions via implemented practices, procedures and standards.
• To provide a safe and entertaining environment for all registered members,
performers, employees, contractors, spectators/fans and members of the public
via hosting services before, during and after an event.
