                                        By Lisa Coffee

On December 5th, 2016 we welcomed
                                        Laurel Square Healthcare & Rehabilitation
Center into the Pinnacle family. The
residents, families, and staff have all been
                                        very welcoming throughout the transition
                                        in the Dietary department.

With the help of Assistant Director
of Dining Services, Mervin Henry, and
                                        from Corporate Executive Chef, Andrew
Merklinger, we jumped right in working
with the cooks on the new Fall-Winter
menu and training the staff on Pinnacle's
policies and procedures. On December 14th Pinnacle got to show off their skills,
wowing the Laurel Square team during our Meet and Greet luncheon.

As a result of teaming up with Laurel Square, we've also gotten the opportunity
to welcome a new DDS and RD to the team. James Cureton is our newest Director
of Dining Services, joining us with over 20 years of experience in food service
management. He has previously worked with Aramark and Thompson Hospitality.
Mary Lou Schantz is our newest Dietitian. She had been employed by Laurel Square
when we became their new Food Service Management company and has become
a part of the Pinnacle team as a result. She previously worked at Marwood Rest
      Home for 35 years.

Within the first five weeks of partnering with Laurel Square, we went through
our first Department of Health Survey. We are proud to announce that we were
deficiency-free in both operations and clinical services. We look forward to many
great things to come at Laurel Square. ◘
