Taoyuan Flight Attendants Union (TFAU) arranged a protest to
against China Airlines on June. TFAU accused that China Airlines did

not provide proper remuneration for the interns’ services. Also, the

officially employed crew operating the same flight will be forced

to take extra responsibilities to cover and monitor the intern crew

without getting any subsidies TFAU criticized that this program
could stretch out labor intensity, which would endanger consumer

interests.

桃園市空服員職業工會於 6 月份赴行政院，抗議華航提供實習生的勞務與報酬不成
比例，恐怕造成實習空服員剝削問題。同時同班機的正職空服還得提供額外督導，

形同變相增加勞動強度，更可能影響飛安與服務品質。

In response to the criticism from lawmakers and cabin crew, China
Airline said
each intern required to undergo a two-month cabin crew training

and pass an evaluation before the intern crew are allowed to

work on flights. And the program aims to help interns gain an
understanding of the industry, also to enable the company to

develop talents. China Airline claimed this to be unrelated to the

normal development of cabin crew.

對此華航出面說明，所有實習生皆比照新進空服員進行 2 個月完整訓練，並通過考
核後才可上機實習，此實習專案的目的是加深實習生對航空服務的認識，同時讓航

空公司能夠快速找到適職人才，與基本航機派遣機制無關。
