 Event 7: Time 19:41:00: (35 min) Event 12: Time 19:54:00: (48 min)

Wooden crib catches fire and intensified flames are seen reaching the roof. Unlike Test 2, no failure of cement boards was observed as they were held well Flashover occurs during this period. Maximum temperatures reach around 1200°C at ground floor level; at first floor level it is about 735°C. Flames begin to
through closely spaced bolts (8”), thus protecting the beams and slab. Maximum temperature observed at ground floor façade level is about 475°C. leap out from the ground floor level but unlike ACP, they fail to ignite MDF panels at first floor level.

 Event 8: Time 19:42:28: (36.47 min) Event 13: Time 19:56:30: (50.5 min)

Heavy smoke emission is observed and flames from the wooden crib are seen erupting out of the ventilation opening. Cement board placed above the Four glass panels fall out in intact from the framework and this can be attributed to the distortion of the framework. Intensity of fire begins to reduce as
wooden crib covering the fire stop material near the façade falls exposing the fire stop material to direct heat. Temperature observed at ground floor level all the fuel within the compartment has been consumed. During this time, temperature at ground floor level was about 1050°C.
at this instant was around 630°C. No failure of glass and MDF panel is observed.
            Event 14: Time 20:01:45: (55.75 min)
 Event 9: Time 19:47:00: (41 min)
Fire load within the compartment has been consumed and fire begins to die out. Fire extinguishing is initiated at ground floor level. Temperatures at

during this interval. Other fuel sources within the compartment have not been ignited. Temperatures have reached about 685°C at ground floor level.

 Event 10: Time 19:50:40: (44.67 min)

It is observed that flames are penetrating through the glass and MDF panel junction allowing the binder (silicon sealant) to fail and thus leads to fall-out
of the panel. Glass panel adjacent to ventilation opening falls out of the framework in intact form due to the failure of binder thereby increasing the Melted
ingress of fresh air within the compartment. Maximum temperature observed at ground floor level is about 755°C. It was also observed that unlike ACP aluminium
sheets, MDF panels were not easily catching fire. cladding

 Event 11: Time 19:51:40: (45.67 min)

A pair of glass panels adjacent to the fallen panel come out intact from the framework due to the similar failure of the binder from the cladding Distorted framework
framework. MDF panel was observed to shrink and was burning and finally dismantled from its position. Fire is enhanced due to increased ventilation
conditions and maximum temperature measured through thermal imaging camera is around 770°C at ground floor level.

 Event 11: Time 19:52:50: (46.83 min)

Temperatures reach around 1186°C at ground floor level whereas at first floor level it is around 465°C. Temperatures have increased significantly beyond the
melting point of aluminium (660°C) leading to melting of the cladding framework at certain locations exposed to such high temperature and distortion
of the frame at other locations (refer Image 26). At this instant another set of glass and MDF panel fall out in intact form thus enhancing ventilation in the Image 26: Distorted cladding framework at junction of members
 compartment.
