Stock transfer procedure
When transferring stock between venues at Cowch, the following
procedure must strictly be adhered to. Venue Managers are the only
staff permitted to organise a stock transfer between venues.
• All staff of Cowch are to notify the venue manager of low or missing
lines of stock.
• Only Venue Managers are permitted to request a stock transfer to or
from a Cowch venue.
• Stock transfer sheets are to be filled out by the store that the stock
is leaving from.
• The Area Manager will be contacted to see which staff member is
available to transfer the requested stock.
• On the first date of every month, the previous month’s transfer
sheet is to be emailed to the Area Manager.
Caring for trackers
The tracker system used by Cowch are also called LOC8 Pucks. The
following procedures must be adhered to when using trackers to
ensure long term protection of the assets.
• Never over stack pucks on their charger. Each side of the charger
should fit 10 pucks only.
• Once an order has been delivered, retrieve the puck and place it on
the back charger not the front counter charger. This will prevent
pucks being stolen, lost or forgotten.
• Ensure pucks have been back on the charger for at least 2 minutes
before reusing. This will help to maintain battery charge.
• Pucks are water resistant and must be kept clean at all times, and
before giving to a customer. Wipe over with a clean, damp cloth as
necessary. This also helps to ensure sensors are kept clear.
• If the puck appears to have stopped working, keep it off the charger
overnight. The next morning, place the puck back on one side of
the charger by itself and monitor for flashing. Alert a manager if the
puck is still not working.
