Clear the table

        Tables can and should be cleared as plates are no longer required. In an eff ort to
        keep tables as clean and tidy as possible it is important that we stay vigilant and clear
        as we are moving around the venue.

        Don’t forget: Full hands in, full hands out.






        Suggest more coffee, cakes & desserts - DINE IN


        Once a table is cleared, always off er additional coff ees and direct them to the cake
        cabinet for the sweets selection.
        Suggest your favourite with your best cheeky grin!







        Farewell your guests - and they are ALL your guests!

        Whether they have dined in, or ordered take away, no guest should leave the venue
        without a warm and genuine farewell. “Thank You!” or “Enjoy the rest of your day”
        It is every staff  member’s responsibility to ensure guests are farewelled.







        Reset

        Clear, wipe and reset the table as quickly as possible even when it is quiet. A venue
        with empty dirty tables looks messy and uninviting.

        Straighten stools and chairs (fi rst).
        Clear and wipe the table.

        Check under the table for rubbish.
        Reset the table.



















         For every sale we miss because we are too enthusiastic, we miss
                one hundred because we are not enthusiastic enough.
