W A TER SERVICE
Filtered tap water will be available for all guests at Marchetti.
Bottled sparkling water will be off ered to all guests dining at a table when they
order food.
The water station must be set according to the procedure.
It is a self service water station however all staff must assist guests as necessary.
When guests are dining at a table at Marchetti and they order a meal, they will
always be asked if they would like tap water, or a bottle of sparkling water.
An appropriate way to off er water to your guests may be, “And would you
like some water for the table? Just tap water or would you prefer a bottle of
sparkling?”
Always suggest tap water fi rst and sparkling last as the guest will often just
request the last thing you have said.
If they request tap water, let them know there is a water station and they are
welcome to help themselves. Of course if it is a quiet time (cold period) you are
encouraged to serve them water to the table.

BO TTLED BEER SERVICE
When bottled beers are listed on the menu, they will be opened at the bar and a
beer glass will always be off ered.
Bottled beers will be opened at the bar. A cold beer glass will be off ered. During
quiet times (cold periods) staff will off er to pour the beer. During busier times
(hot periods) the glass and bottle will be placed on the bar with the label always
facing toward the guest.
Drinks will all be placed on a doily.
