A Call for Parental, Educational, and Government Action
The addiction to video games is becoming notorious in pupils. This problem has gone
worldwide. There are several causes including no parental limitation, viral trend games,
advertisements and beyond.
The significant and intense gaming designs are often highly engaging, offer endless game
levels, reward and curious stories which makes it almost impossible for kids to quit.
Moreover, the addiction is spreading globally across multiple devices and platforms, such
as websites, phones, tablets and consoles, making it easier to access and play.
Some parents are at their work all day, leaving their kids home all day. Without care and
supervision, kids will use devices and play video games non-stop. Another cause can be
outdoor safety. There are many construction going on and some dangerous people
wandering around, which reduces children’s physical activity outside. Ultimately, it leads
to children watching TV, play games for entertainment and fun. With kids staying indoors
all day, they are beginning to depend on digital surfaces permanently.
