Rural vs. Urban Living: Finding the Best
Rural vs. Urban Living: Finding the Best
Environment for Children's Growth
Environment for Children's Growth
In today’s world, young families struggle to choose between living in the countryside or
city. Locating in rural areas can be environmentally beneficial for the growth of children,
but urban regions are better when it comes to prioritizing education. This essay will
explore both sides and offer a concluding view.
It is hard to blame people for preferring to live among trees and animals when life in a city
with its traffic, oversaturated population, and pollution can cause major headaches. Kids
living in rural areas are most likely to grow up without catching any contaminating diseases
from pollution. Moreover, because they are closer to nature and mother earth, it is certain
they will reach adulthood with love and care for the environment.
Additionally, with the lack of advanced technology, the kids will be able to experience real
carefree childhood in the absence of video games and other addicting phone usage.
However, this factor can also be a disadvantage as with how fast technology is developing,
it is impossible to gain knowledge without it, meaning the quality of education in rural
areas can be lower and slower than that in the city.
